1. Mumbai Metro Line 3 now operational: From ticket fares to stations on route | All you need to know.

Mumbai's Metro Line-3 is now completely operational. This comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the final phase of the metro route during his two-day visit to the Maharashtra capital. 2. Porsche racing BMW at 150 kmph crashes on Mumbai highway, driver injured.

A high-speed Porsche car crashed on Mumbai’s Western Express Highway near Jogeshwari late last night, leaving the driver seriously injured. According to eyewitnesses, the Porsche was racing with a BMW at a speed of around 150 kmph when the accident occurred. The incident took place at around 2 am, when the DN-number Porsche lost control and rammed into a road divider under the Jogeshwari Metro station. 3. Deposit ₹60 cr first, HC tells Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra for considering their plea for foreign travel.

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday asked Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra to deposit ₹60 crore with the court registry if they wanted their plea for foreign travel to be considered by the court. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police had, on September 5, issued look-out-circulars against Shetty and Kundra in connection with a ₹60.48-crore cheating case linked to the couple’s now-defunct online retail firm, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. 4. Funds allocated to Mumbai’s 24 wards under total BMC budget declines from 18 to 11%: study.

The allocation of the total Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) budget to the Ward Budget has shown a steady decline, from 18% in 2021-22 to 11% in 2025-26, shows a study titled ‘Mumbai Ward-Wise Budget Paper 2025’ conducted by Praja Foundation, in collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). 📖 Read Full Story

5. CRISIL moves Mumbai headquarters to Saki Vihar Road, to pay nearly Rs 600 cr rent over 15 yrs.

Rating agency CRISIL has moved its Mumbai headquarters from its former Hiranandani Gardens, Powai premises to the Lightbridge IT Park at Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East. CRISIL is leasing 2.5 lakh square feet space at Lightbridge for a 15 year period, for which it is slated to pay Rs 597.30 crore as rent, according to lease documents accessed by Propstack. 📖 Read More
