Reports have emerged that the ticket booking process is also set to begin soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the much-awaited NMIA on October 8. Earlier Cidco MD and Vice Chairman Vijay Singhal had confirmed that the first flight is set to take off by December 2025.

1. Flight delays ahead? NOTAM issued for Mumbai after India warns of possible GPS signal interference, signal loss

The alert came just days after, the DGCA on November 11 asked airlines, pilots and air traffic controllers to report GPS spoofing incidents within 10 minutes of the occurrences. The DGCA order came amid the recent incident at the Delhi airport. The accused, identified as Nitesh Rai, was arrested on Tuesday after investigators found that he had allegedly abused his official position to process account-opening forms for individuals linked to organised cybercrime networks.
