1. Powai hostage-taker dies of a bullet injury, was shot during the children's rescue.
Rohit Arya, the suspect who took 17 children hostage at Mumbai's RA Studio, died at the hospital as he was admitted there with critical injuries after he received a bullet shot in the chest. He was reportedly shot by the police as they carried out a 35-minute rescue operation at the studio located in Mumbai's Powai area on Thursday. 📖 Read More

The Mumbai Police Crime Branch recently arrested Akhtar Hussain Qutbuddin Ahmed, aged 60, in connection with espionage-related activities. 6. BMC’s smart parking app to revolutionise parking in Mumbai.
Apart from making it easy to locate and book parking spaces in Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) smart parking application is aimed at streamlining maintenance of public parking lots and on-street parking lots, by clubbing app development and app maintenance with maintenance of the property itself.
